I am still trying to trudge through this book:
.I LOVE Jamie and Claire, but for some reason this book isn't sucking me in like the others in the series.
Don't get me wrong, it's a good read, but it's just taking me a lot longer than normal.

Familiar wtih this phenomenon, he waited with mild impatience for her mind to let go of the turbine and focus on him.

It's not you, it's that book - it just isn't as engaging as previous ones. It gets better towards the end and when you get there let me know if you were ticked off that it ended at THAT point. grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I have to agree with Rosemary -it's the book. For whatever reason it just isn't as gripping as the other's in the series. My thought is that it doesn't have much to do with Jamie and Claire.
