Dear Santa,

Real life conversation. Sometime in the middle of November 2010.

Me: Melissa, you need to make a list of things you want for Christmas this year. So Santa will have time to make things.
Melissa: Okay.

Fast forward to the next day:

Me: Melissa, you can't have a 5 page list. Uh, one page is plenty. Understand?
Melissa: Yes, I understand.

~~~~~
Here's her revised list.
Found later that night on the end table in the family room.
She understood. She just needed to get rid of the wasted space and write smaller. DUH!
I can't make this stuff up.
I love the way she thinks.
Santa might have to work a little overtime to fullfil this list.
(Note: Santa doesn't indulge our children's every wish on their lists. Just so you know.)
Oh my gosh, this really did make me laugh out loud. I commend M3 for her ability to adapt to the situation and make it work!
