Opus Gluei #79 and CCC #20

I am SO VERY THANKFUL for so many things in my life.
This time of year is almost my favorite.
(It's really hard to have just one favorite time of year you know.)

The Challenge this week at OPUS GLUEI is to GIVE THANKS. Well, I just got a wonderful new die for my Studio and just had to use it. AND the Challenge this week at Compendium of Curiosities is Industrial Grunge (from Tim's book - page 54).

I had to combine them this week, due to time constraints,
and came up with this little beauty:

I used Tim's "On the Edge" border die, some grunge board that I won just for being lucky enough to be the 1500 member to join the ALL THINGS TIM Yahoo group, Dollar Store paper (yup, if I like it, I'll use it), a Stampin' Up stamp and oval punch, some Making Memories ribbon, flower is from the $1 section at JoAnn's.

Jana, this is absolutely gorgeous! The Industrial Grunge is so perfectly done and looks fabulous on the die cut. I love the background paper, too-- those colors are just spectacular!

What a lovely way to celebrate the season of gratitude!

Hi JAna,

love the autumn colours of your card...but best of all, HAPPY HAPPY HAPY Birthday!! I've been out of town for a few days so I know I'm late, but it doesn't make the wishes any less sincere.

Hope I have time for something papery this week

I've already wished you a happy birthday (and sung to you, egads), so I won't bore you with another set of good wishes (though you know I want you to have good wishes). This is fantastic, I like it - love that you, like me, will use what you love, whether it cost a lot or a little.

BEAUTIFUL!

several things leap to mind when i see this, such as:

1. WOW, that is awesome!
2. "industrial grunge" is the best technique name EVER!!!!!!!
3. dollar store paper *ROCKS*! (or stickers, or oil cloth, or those little treat bags you see at kid's parties, or unlicensed hello kitty knock-off merch!) (but never ever buy ANYTHING edible in a $ store!!!) (eeeeeeeeewwww!!!)
4. no, seriously, that is ♥AWESOME♥ in a big, biiiiiiiig way!!!
5. i need more tim dies, startin' with THIS ONE!!!!!!
6. ♥♥♥♥♥!
