Happy Easter. This is the beginning of the new year.
Not January 1. This is the beginning of the rest of our lives.
Here on earth, and forevermore.
Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice for us.
On a less religious, but still Easter note.
The girls decorated this cake.
We also colored eggs and finally decorated the gingerbread house that was given to us on Christmas Eve. We decorated it in Easter style.
Yes, that's Melissa laying on the table. This has become part of the tradition of decorating gingerbread houses.

I love love love this posting. Excellent picture for the real meaning of Easter, away from the bunnies and candy and toward the message of redemption. Very profound.
Also, adorable shots of the family (I believe the laying over the table helps the creative process) - cute house (who'd know it was from Christmas)! You're so creative! Love having you as MY friend
What wonderful photos...you put Christ first, then all the fun things you did as a family, that should be how our priorities are arranged!
Very nice post ...and you did a great job with the Easter Sweets!
