Heart the ART & Opus Gluei

My oldest daughter has been rather, er, ah, uhm, trying as of late.
Don't mis-understand. She isn't knocking over banks, or knocked up. She is just impossible to please.
She's just 15 going on bitchy.

Don't worry sweetie, mommy won't let you fall into the volvano for real, it's just make believe.
Anyway, I made this journal page to release some of my frustration. It will be printed out and placed in my Heart the ART journal for week 12. The pages I am making are not going in the book in any particular order, so I am really not worried about the week number. I didn't really stick to the topic. I'm not Irish so an Irish blessing just didn't feel right. But this quote, hit the spot. I also made this page for Opus Gluei's 53rd Challenge - Can I quote you on that?

I also made a bookmark for the Opus Gluei challenge. I read a lot, and usually my bookmarks are receipts or napkins (not used). I thought it was time for a proper bookmark. Especially when I saw the wonderful free kit that Gina is offering on her blog. Thank you Gina. She offered it in honor of InterNational Scrapbooking Day, but I think she'll be okay with a bookmark today.

I printed out the front and the back as one 4x6 photo, scored down the middle and folded it in half. Then glued it together, inked the edges, punched a hole and added a scrap of ribbon I had from a previous project.
.
.
.
I am offering the 4x6 jpeg if you'd like to print out a bookmark for yourself.
Just go to Opus Gluei and pick it up. And join in on this weeks challenge.
.
You'll have fun. And you can QUOTE me on that.
.
.
Hope you like these projects, and I hope you don't hate me for wanting to mentally dunk my teenager into hot lava.
.
.
.
It's just that sometimes......

OMG - 15 going on bitchy (CLASSIC, I'd like to use THAT quote, lol)
You'll survive, she'll become human again in a couple of years. It happens eventually they say.

Love your projects, that art journal of yours is really capturing where you are and is going to be something to reflect upon in the years to come. It will show the good and the bad and the beauty all around you. Hang in there, my dear friend, I'm pulling for you!
