Yesterday I had the normal kid pick-up, grocery store trip, homework battle, and I also had a Track meet and flower pen delivery. ALL before dinner.
.
Today I have to get one kid (3:45), cart her off to riding lessons (4:00-ish), double back to pick up other kid, get dog food, get people food, then go home and feed the dog and the people. (Hopefully with the right foods.) BUT, somewhere in this mix, I HAVE to stop at the bookstore and pick up a book. And it's all her fault:

Charlaine Harris is the author of many books. Some of them are about Sookie Stackhouse. Today the latest one in the series is available. I have held off from ordering it online, for really cheap, because I want to touch it TODAY. I don't want to wait. If I don't get one today, then my self restraint will have all been in vain. We can't have that now. Can we?
.
Oh, yeah, and I can't leave work early because I am stuck in meetings with some really important clients. ALL DAY type meetings. It's bad enough that I shrugged out of lunch "to get some work done", so I CANNOT leave early.
.
So wish me luck.

Good luck.
Yep, what Electra said. Oy.
I bought it really really cheap on amazon for me and my friend. I should get mine tomorrow. I can't wait. I've loved Sookie for 4 years!! I have awaited with baited breathe for the last three books. I always worry when the last on will be. Harris' grave secret series are good too. Have you read them?f
I do not like the Shakespeare series.
I hope you're able to grab the book. I've read a few of her books, but they've never really "grabbed me". I love True Blood, so I decided to give the books another go and still, just couldn't get into them.
But do I ever know how it feels to need to have a book when it comes out!
Charlaine appears absolutely delighted to put you out, the nerve! Hope you got the book, I ordered cheap on Amazon as well and hopefully it will get here sooooon!
Your day exhausts me, I don't know how you do it.
You didn't take lunch? OMG, that is a horribly busy day. Yuck, stop that.
435 pens?? Now that's what I call dedication! Hope you had time to enjoy a bit of your new book!!
